Description of Jewellery

This piece draws from ceiling motifs found in historic Chinese architecture, where circular centres and measured outlines were used to organise interior ornament. These elements are interpreted here in a compact form that remains clear when worn close to the face.

The composition places a rounded centre within a defined outer frame, reflecting the ordered geometry characteristic of traditional interiors. Symmetry and proportion are held with restraint, allowing the architectural reference to remain legible without excess detail.

Made in 990 silver through traditional filigree work, the earrings emphasise outline and structural clarity, allowing form to be read through proportion rather than surface decoration.
